Hello, thanks for visiting my site.

I’m a writer, editor, poet, and visual artist concerned with the intersection of faith and culture. I contribute reviews, essays, and commentary to a variety of publications on a wide range of subjects, including economics, energy, global politics, and religion. Most recently, my work was awarded first place in the 2024 Catholic Literary Arts Sacred Poetry Contest. My educational background is in international relations and Spanish language, and other interests include Latin American literature, art history, architecture, film, and Polish poetry. At various points I’ve also been a bartender, movie theater projectionist, pizza deliveryman, political consultant, and ghostwriter. Outside of writing and reading, I enjoy surfing, painting, cooking, and wandering in the woods. A proud Wisconsin native, I now make my home in New England.
